Hi Everyone,
Quiz is a regional rally without horses. The kids go in teams of 3 or 4 and compete in 4 sections: classroom, barn, megaroom and stations, answering horse management questions. It covers horse care, barn management, anything to do with horses, and often obscure questions about pony club history, tack, nutrition, plants, blankets, etc. RHPC does well and everyone has a lot of fun and gets ribbons! It’s a great way to prepare for ratings.
Below is a note from Anu, describing the event
Betsy
Dear Club and Center leaders,
Please encourage you D member and their parents to attend the Introduction to Rallying D level activity. This will be educational and fun for the both the members and their parents. We hope we can get the D members interested in rallying in time for them to qualify for championships East and MidWest.
At this event, they will have most of their questions about horse management, rallies and championships answered so you don’t have to field them personally.
